Check Your Benefits

To use insurance benefits, please check your benefits before contacting our office using these steps:



Step 1: Check


Contact your insurance company using the 1 (800) number listed on your card. Let them know you are inquiring about outpatient mental health benefits. Often, health insurance companies have a separate company for mental health benefits.


Step 2: Determine

Determine if the therapist you are wanting to see within our office is an In Network or Out of Network provider for your mental health insurance benefits.


Step 3: Verify

It is important to ask about the Deductable, Co-pay, Number of Visits allowed in a calendar year or lifetime of the policy. AND find out if an Authorization Number is required before your first visit. Also, get the mental health claims address for their insurance. Check each of these benefits for an in network provider and an out of network provider.


Step 4: Schedule

Contact our office to schedule an appointment time. Most appointments are scheduled within 1 - 4 weeks.


Payment is due when services are rendered. All charges are ultimately the client's responsibility. It is the client's responsibility to verify benefits prior to the first appointment. Our office does not file secondary insurance.
